Welcome to Ing Hill Lodge

ING HILL is 300 metres up on the North Pennine fells to the east of Lakeland, situated in the lovely dale of Mallerstang, part of the Upper Eden Valley. There are fine views from the site. It is less than four miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the entrance to Herriot country, with the Lakes only 30 miles or so. Within a short drive can be found attractive pubs, teashops and restaurants. The market town of Kirkby Stephen is some five miles, providing local shopping (including late opening) and a variety of antique and craft shops. Here you will also find the local Tourist Information Centre and be able to reach the station on the famous Settle-Carlisle Line. Horse riding, golf and fishing are all available nearby.

The Barn is set in 2½ acres and includes a large field. Dogs are accepted in ground floor apartments for a small fee and subject to some simple rules and they may be run off the lead in this field.

The Apartments are available all year and for short breaks during winter and at short notice in summer. Radiators from a central boiler provide heating. All electricity, heating and linen included in the rent- no hidden extras!

There are 4 individual apartments, 2 first floor, two ground (which accept dogs) and all have one bedroom, sleeping two persons in a king size double.

        High Season from £210 to £340

        Each apartment has one bedroom, sleeping two persons in a king size double.

        Short breaks are available outside of the main season and start on Fridays, Saturdays or Mondays. Please call us or check our website for more information on short breaks.

        Bed & Breakfast Prices:
        The basic B+B rate is £30 per person, sharing a double room. However, a 2-day break for a couple is £110 in total, 3/4 day £165 and 7 days £290. Single occupancy, if available, is 25% extra on these rates.
