Welcome to New Ing Lodge
New Ing Lodge offers comfortable and affordable accommodation with a modern style in the Lake District National Park.
Formerly a working farm, New Ing Farm lies a few metres off the once busy A6. Built in 1708 New Ing Farm was for a while also a coaching inn, observant visitors will notice the single window high up on each of the gable ends. These are unusual and it was from these windows that the servant girls would look out for the next coach and warn the landlord so that he could prepare to greet the new arrivals.
We believe that a stay in the English Lake District should offer tranquillity and serenity in a beautiful environment.
