In the delightful village of Bassenthwaite, nestling at the foot of Skiddaw. Our cottages lie in this idylic "sleepy hollow" beside a beautiful stream with ducks and a wooden footbridge.
Brook House Cottage Holidays is a well-established family run business located by a farm in the heart of Bassenthwaite village, a small village in the quieter Northern Lake District with easy access to all the well-known lakes and mountains.
Bed & Breakfast is also available at our lovely 17th Century Farmhouse which is fully modernised whilst retaining its olde worlde character. A charming lounge/dining room furnished with antiques is available for guests use any time. Delightful bedrooms with individual period furnishings. Hand basin in rooms. 2 Bathrooms close by. Tea and coffee making facilities. Good local Inn for food nearby.
