| Set in wonderful open countryside Bush Nook Guest House was originally part of the estate held in trust for the Earl of Carlisle in the Barony of Guilsland.Built in 1760 with further additions in 1811 and 1849, the house and its outbuildings are stone built in traditional farmhouse style, and like most properties in the area was built using stones borrowed from the nearby Hadrian's Wall fortifications. |
