		Elm How, Cruck Barn and Eagle Cottage Elm How and Cruck Barn are in the Grisedale Valley above Patterdale, near Ullswater. Elm How is an old farmhouse sleeping 8 and Cruck Barn a converted barn sleeping 2. Access is by a single track unpaved gated road, about ¾ mile long. Adjacent to one of the main footpaths up to Helvellyn and Fairfield, they are ideal as a base for walking holidays. Eagle Cottage is a stone built cottage sleeping 4 and is slightly above Glenridding. Another footpath passes the drive entrance.
