West View is a bright, 3 bedroomed, recently renovated 16th Century cottage, conveniently close to all the village amenities. With private parking for two cars and a small garden and patio overlooking fields and forest, this really is a lovely haven to relax in and enjoy. Sleeps up to 6.
Flag Cottage is an 18th Century cottage in the heart of the village. Originally cattle and horses were housed at ground level and the family lived above. Now the accommodation consists of a ground floor fully fitted kitchen and a double bedroom with private facilities. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a single bedroom and a snug sitting room with an outlook over the village rooftops to the wooded slopes of Latterbarrow beyond. Fern Cottage is a quaint 18th Century Lakeland Cottage in a quiet yard off the Square in the Village centre. It was once the police house, but now the old lock-up and office is a spacious kitchen/dining area. A twisting staircase leads from a cosy sitting room with open fire to two double en-suite bedrooms.
